Topping-out ceremony at KANSAI HELIOS Austria

On May 3, almost 180 guests gathered at the KANSAI HELIOS Austria site for the topping-out ceremony of the new company building.

Among those present were employees as well as project managers, architects and construction workers who have made a significant contribution to the progress of the building’s construction. With a good and exuberant mood in a cozy atmosphere, the construction progress, which was kept to schedule, was celebrated.

“The topping-out ceremony is a wonderful moment to celebrate the joint work one year after the start of construction,” said Managing Director of KANSAI HELIOS Austria, Alexander Schütter, praising the progress of the construction project.

 

About the new KANSAI HELIOS company building

 

The construction of the new hall on the company premises marks a major step in the company’s development: with construction due to start in May 2023 and completion planned for spring 2025, the new building will not only expand operational capacity, but also set new standards in terms of efficiency and sustainability.

The hall extends over a constructed area of 7,117 m² and includes a picking hall of 1,382 m² as well as 630 m² of office and social rooms. With a height of 12 m, it offers space for 16 storage magazines with a total of 7470 pallet spaces and various storage options. The planned photovoltaic system on the roof with an output of approx. 450 kWp will make an important contribution to sustainable energy supply.
