Approximately 35% of our employees work in research and development. Our team develops coating solutions based on technical requirements, customer needs, and relevant regulatory guidelines. Environmental requirements are taken into account in the development of our coating systems. Our portfolio includes, among other things, high-solid, water-based, and solvent-free coating technologies.
In 2012, KANSAI HELIOS Austria (then Rembrandtin) was the first Austrian company to be awarded the European Responsible Care Award “for exceptional performance for the environment, a healthy future, or responsibility towards other people.”
ENVIRONMENTAL STATEMENT
Environmental management is an integral part of our business processes. Our environmental activities, goals, and key performance indicators are documented in our Environmental Statement, which is updated annually. This commitment is based on extensive internal communication and close collaboration, and is supported by all employees. The annually updated environmental statement provides a comprehensive overview of current and planned environmental activities. It also serves as the basis for an open dialogue with the public about the environment and sustainability in the chemical industry.
