BONDING VARNISHES FOR WIND GENERATORS
Bonding varnishes for wind turbines are particularly applied to the stator and rotor core. Our C5 portfolio offers customized solutions for onshore amd offshore applications.
Our Remisol C5 core plate varnishes are inorganic or organic hybrid coatings and offer great flexibility in the manufacturing of wind turbines. They are exceptionally well-punchable varnishes with a permanent temperature resistance of up to 270°C. These are highly weldable varnishes, resistant to stress-relief annealing.
BACKLACK EB548 and REMISOL EB549
Bonding varnishes EB 548 and Remisol EB 549 are used for dry adhesive bonding of electrical steel sheets. Coated sheets or stampings are bonded under heat and pressure. Thus, riveting or welding of the magnetic cores is not necessary and core losses are reduced. The bonded stacks provide optimum thermal conductivity and prevent frequency humming. They do not breathe under temperature changes which prevents interlaminar corrosion. At the same time, they ensure that the steel laminations are insulated.
